Using the National ED Inventory-USA, we identified all EDs with pediatric emergency care coordinators (PECCs) in 2020. We surveyed EDs with PECCs in Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska, New York, Vermont, and Wisconsin. We collected data about PECC participation in quality improvement, education provision, skill verification, equipment responsibilities, and how many hours the PECC devoted to the role.
