National Emergency Department Inventory - USA

The 2007 National ED Inventory-USA (NEDI-USA) contains data on all 4,874 US EDs for the year 2007, including facility location and annual visit volume. NEDI-USA was developed by Dr. Carlos Camargo and EMNet staff by integrating data from three sources: the Verispan Hospital Market Profiling Solution, the American Hospital Association Annual Survey Database, and surveys performed by EMNet staff. The primary manuscript from the 2001 database was published in Annals of Emergency Medicine (click here to download).
