Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship

is accepting applications for the Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship

Since 1999, the Emergency Medicine Network (EMNet) Coordinating Center has welcomed applicants for the EMNet Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship. A majority of our applicants come from Harvard’s Center for Public Interest Careers and Princeton’s Project 55 Fellowship Program.

THE PROGRAM: The individual(s) will gain clinical research experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. They will be trained in several aspects of research including research protocol development, patient screening and interviewing, data management and analysis, and manuscript preparation. The Fellowship is a year-long position.

ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION: The EMNet Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship is open to college graduates who have an interest in clinical research. Applicants must have excellent organizational and computer skills and be able to work well with others. One to two applicants will be selected. The deadline for receipt of applications is March 1, 2019.

CANDIDATES ARE ASKED TO SUBMIT:

  • A cover letter (including your immediate and long-term objectives)
  • A curriculum vitae (maximum of 2 pages)
  • Two letters of recommendation (including one from your academic advisor)
  • A copy of your transcript (official transcripts are preferred)

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: The program will be based at Massachusetts General Hospital.
